Lovely 3 bedroom condo. Well equiped
This is a lovely 3 bedroom condo. There are many stairs. The entry door takes you into a foyer that is well lit and large for boots/ shoes jackets etc. there are about 15 stairs up to the main level that features an open area. Super well equipped kitchen with everything you need , comfy couches with fireplace and a dining table which seats 6-8 people. Washer / dryer on this level with a balcony with bistro style seating and a wonderful BBQ. Next level is about 12 stairs up with main bath / stand up shower, 3 bedrooms with primary having 2 twin beds: which I found odd but we made due. Ensuite in primary with bathtub. And best part is a private balcony with a well maintained hot tub!!!! There are definite signs of aging in this unit but was very comfortable. Description states each room has queen beds which wasn’t the case and dining chairs definately need replacing. Lots of storage and great family condo .

Stay at Stoney creek Sunpath November 2024
Room was very nice and clean when we arrived, jazz music was playing on TV which caught me by surprised but was a nice touch. Great location to restaurants and shops, we have been coming to Whistler / Blackcomb for 20+ years enjoying the skiing and activities.

a very well located apartment, you can walk anyway in the village and take any trail near there. It was kind of hot but the weather was not what it was supposed to be so maybe a mini split will be a good idea.
everything else was very well.

Nice place, but a few hiccups
The apartment is very well maintained. We also liked the location. One issue is the lack of a/c. It was pretty stifling in there at times, despite us having the fans going constantly.
The grounds are nice, but the pool is kind of small, so it can be too crowded if you don't time it right.
One issue we had was that the management company didn't warn us that the hottub maintenance guy would be coming during our stay. So when my wife and children entered the apartment, they were very startled to have some man come down from upstairs. DO BETTER--this was a frightening experience for them.

Small and Tired
This unit was in a great location and had a well stocked kitchen. The rooms were small and only the master bedroom could fit 2 cribs. So tight that we bumped our knees on the bedframes in the other two rooms. Needs painting and real furniture (beds only on a frame, no headboards). Cracked sink in master bedroom and existing damage throughout the unit.

Outstanding Whistler Stay!
I cannot recommend Sunpath #50 at Stony Creek Sunpath. The Unit was perfect for our family of 6, with everything you need for a week in Whistler, including a private hot tub on the balcony. The location was a short walk to the village and lifts and the support and customer service from the team was outstanding. We would definitely return here and can highly recommend this property.

Great Location!
Everything was great except the pull out bed mattress is very springy and not very comfortable. Please consider replacing to a memory foam type in the future. The hot tub started to smell of burning wires and started to smoke on the last day we were there and then showed a wrench icon on the display screen. Possibly due for a maintenance check?

Family getaway
We enjoyed our stay here. The place was very spacious and clean, no AC was an issue for sure in the summer. The pool area was small and didn’t have any decent chairs or loungers to hang out in. I also found it odd that with a 3 bedroom place not one room had a king bed. The location was excellent though for walking anywhere.

Wonder full Whistler retread
Shared between two families and everyone had their own bed in this 3 bedroom condo. The hot tub with mountain views was used morning and night. Fully stocked kitchen, clean rooms and attentive property managers (key fob for parking garage and clogged sink were looked at within an hour of a telephone call). So close to the village with grocery and liquor stores less than a 5 minute walk. Groceries could be picked up after a day of skiing. No need to drive the car. Bus stop for free shuttle to gondola right outside the door. Fantastic location.

Nice place with hot tub off of the master bedroom. Could use another bathroom, as one bathroom is in the master and the other one common. Great location directly across the street from bus stop to lifts. Walking didtance to everything, but taking the bus to and from instead of storing skis was great help. Highly reccommended.

Not what we expected......
Although the pictures indicate a lovely condo unit they must have been taken many years ago as this place hasn't aged well. Mold in the bathroom, cobwebs on the light fixtures, an odd smell upon entering and general wear and tear make it far less attractive when you see it in person than what you see on the website. The location is great and if you're a skier and don't want to worry about banging a place up with your equipment this is the spot for you.

Great Location - Make sure you love stairs!
This is a roomy 3 bedroom condo. Bathrooms are small, in poor condition, bathtub surface grimy. Large kitchen and dining. Living room comfortable. It should be noted that entry to living space is via a staircase. No bathroom on kitchen, dining, living level. More stairs to bedrooms. Hot tub is located off main bedroom limiting access to a larger group. Hot tub being filled via hose from our bathroom sink when we arrived making the sink/bathroom unusable for a couple of hours, hot tub not available until second night. The bathroom sink lacks faucet ring water splashes when used - probably to allow the hose hook up to the hot tub. Not ideal location for small children or those who have difficulty with stairs because you will be climbing them often! Other than that, the location is excellent the grounds are beautiful. Because we had small children we would not stay here again.

Forest Nook
This was a substitute for a booking that was cancelled due to sale of the property therefore we were unaware of the number of stairs to access the living space which was substantial. The kitchen was large and well stocked and a pleasure to use. The living room was comfortable. The master bedroom was spacious. The master bathroom was adequate although the sink faucet was missing a piece and the water sprays everywhere when in use. The bathroom for the other 2 bedrooms was small, no counterspace (pedestal sink) and the shower unit was very small.

Wasn't Bad, but needs better upkeep
We had exposed electrical wiring in a wall socket in the main bedroom that was very dangerous because my 1 year old was very intrigued by it. The hot tub upstairs was falling apart and the jets kept flying off when you turned them on. The screen door on the main floor wasn't tracking properly. The pillows were absolutely horrible and need to be replaced. I wish they mentioned there were multiple flights of stairs so I could have brought along some baby gates. Apart from those issues, the unit was nice a big, the kitchen had everything we needed, and it was quiet at night. I wasn't a big fan of the diy check-in process but that's probably because I didn't know what the process was. Checking out was better because I figured it be easier to park in the visitor parking and just cart our luggage down the ramp

Looks can be deceiving
Many broken worn items in this unit.
Kitchen cabinets have loose knobs and are worn.
kitchen light gets hit by cabinet door, light fixture is broken and has exposed wiring do to this.
Microwave tray is broken and grinds.
Master bathroom fan is seized, when it works it screams loudly.
Bathroom sink is cracked and the silicone around the half the mouldings on the floor screams , cheap owner!
Both hair dryers are broken and seize up when used, they smell like they will catch fire.
Hot tub is missing a ton of jets, controls are so worn you have to just press buttons and see what they do.
Unit has multiple tv's but only the downstairs one has decent cable.
Washer does not drain correctly and leaves clothes very wet.
Dryer only barely drys when set on high only, will not dry on other settings.
Some plugs in the unit are so worn from age they do not work and the item you plug in just falls out.
For a unit that rents for $650 a night, it is nowhere near upto par.
It is only worth about 150.00 a night in present condition as the owner apparently spends no money on it.
We got this unit as a free upgrade from a $250 a night condo, so i was very happy at the time but after getting there not so much!

The unit is in need of a good cleaning and paint. The bathroom walls, showers, etc. need a good wash and bleaching. The swimming pool's filtration system is not working. When I waved my hands in the water they came out covered in human hair.

Value driven
This TH is well suited to a family/multi-family gathering. It is fully equipped for 8, with 3 BRs and couch/bed. The three balconies are an awesome bonus and the private hottub well worth it. It can get loud in the evening as the suite is directly off Northlands and not at the back of the property; but this is Whistler and this is pretty much par for the course. The biggest downfall for this property is the cleanliness. A thorough professional clean, especially in the bathrooms would move this from a 3*.

Great Location in the middle of everything
Girls Getaway to Whistler for a few days and this place fit the bill. We had a 3 bedroom, full kitchen, etc. The property is within walking distance of shops and restaurants in the Village and within easy driving distance of many of the falls and hikes we wanted to do. Easy check in and check out too. The condo is a bit dated but the property management is very responsive. TIPS - when you are unloading, park in the “guest” space in the Garage. Once in the condo, use the key fob to trigger the release of the gate (the panel is just as you enter the garage on the left - NOT near the gate) so you can park in the designated space. When leaving the garage, the panel is again on the left to open the gate to get out - it is not motion activated as we thought. On the fob is also an actual key - use this for the trash/recycle room (which is also in the garage) and use the key to access the garage door to walk through to your car. None of these things were explained explicitly and we had to figure them out ourselves.

Location makes this place a winner
The location is the main selling feature of Sunpath #50. It is a short walking distance to cafes, restaurants, IGA, shops, and ski lifts. The house is well maintained. It would be good if an information booklet or binder explaining how certain lights in some bedrooms work, and how to turn the shower on by pulling out the bath tap..little details like that would have been useful to have on-hand. We eventually figured it out, but it took 3 university educated adults to each have a go at it before finally getting it to work. As well, the outdoor spa didn’t work, but we weren’t sure if it actually was not operational or whether we collectively couldn’t figure out how to turn it on. It was our last night in Whistler so we couldn’t be bothered calling up property management to ask them to send someone around and resolve the issue for us.

Overall though, the positives far outweighed the negatives and we enjoyed our stay here

Great location, great amenities
Location was the best part. Walking distance to the village was an absolute treat. The place was clean, lots of space, loved having the private hottub to top it off. However, the show heater by the door ruined 2 sets of shoes. This was a little disappointing, as they were just near-by the heater. Not touching at all, and they melted 2 sets of shoes.

Low quality for the price
Great location, but run down and not clean. The carpet turned the bottoms of our bare feet black enough that they left footprints in the shower. I found food crumbs from the last guests under the bed. The wall clock didn't work until I replaced the battery. All in all the dirty floors were the worst, and the rest of the condo was in relatively good shape, but having stayed at a lot of places in Whistler, a person can do much better for the price.

Really good Property Mngmt Company
Whistler Retreats was well organized and knowledgeable. Check-in and property info was great. The 3 bed suite at Northlands was adequate. It is very dated and in need of updates but was clean and a very good location. Second shower hardware not operating correctly but manageable. Suite is very dark and kitchen needs better dishes and stocking but again as long as you don't seek luxury the suite is ok.

The location was great. The property was smaller tha it apeared. Sleeps 8, but I don't recommend it for 8 people, 6 at the most, since it only has 2 bathrooms.
The washer needs to be cleaned.

Good location & nice condo
My only complaint was the coffee maker ....which a guy came to replace with an older style which had a screw on lid .... was a pain to use & the lid fell off twice while trying to pour coffee .... should just have regular pour style pot without the screw down lid. Other than that great spot - clean & close to village. Was great location for our weekend. (2017 Cornacopia)

Fantastic property and wonderful staff
We loved our stay at Sunpath 50. Fantastic location right by the village and plenty of space for 6 people! (There were four of us and a toddler and there was heaps of room!!) There were fans in all the bedrooms which was fantastic as it was quite hot when we were there. Everything was clean and it even included toiletries which I often don't find in these sorts of properties. The private hot tub was great!
The management staff were all lovely and so great with communication from the moment I emailed them to enquire about available properties. I was having trouble with the phone so they came and fixed it for me without a bother! (Free international calls is a massive bonus!!) I would highly recommend this property and others managed by 'Whistler Retreats.'

Great condo in a great location
The rental is great. Location is perfect. The furniture and rooms were clean and comfortable. Our only complaint is there were no mixing bowls and cooking utensils were exceptionally cheap. We rented so we could cook in the evening and we would have like some more kitchen supplies. They did have a lot of pots and pans and dishwasher was super convenient. We walked to the gondola everyday and grocery/liquor store was walking distance away. We had a great experience outside of needing mixing bowls.

Nice house
Nice location but I must say thr house is a little small especially the living room. Also the entry foyer is like a freezer no insulation whatsoever. Bedrooms are nice and clean. Bathrooms are a little outdated. Really convenient location for marketplace and ski bus.
