Marketplace Lodge Deluxe 1-Bedroom #328

Nous avons retenus Market Place Lodge by Whistler Retreats, en décembre 2025, pour visiter Whistler et un membre de notre famille. Nous avions choisi cet endroit parce qu'il offrait un excellent prix pour un hébergement directement au coeur du village, ce qui est rare, et nous étions convaincus que l'endroit serait vieux et mal entretenu, afin de justifier un prix si intéressant dans ce secteur recherché.
Quelle belle surprise nous avons eut lors de notre arrivé ! le condo était étincelant de propreté, la salle de bain semblait neuve, la cuisine offrait tout ce que nous souhaitions afin de cuisiner nous mêmes nos repas et une belle chaleur émanait du foyer. Les draps et serviettes aussi semblaient neufs et le matelas était très confortable. Nous avons apprécié le balcon qui nous offrait une superbe vue sur les montagnes.
La présence de laveuse et sécheuse comme neufs directement dans le condo à été un must pour les vêtements de ski. Nous avons profité également du spa commun à plusieurs reprises.
Nous avons donc grandement apprécié notre séjour au Market Place Lodge !!!

We stayed at Market Place Lodge for 3 weeks and had a wonderful experience. The apartment has everything we needed, was located in the village and so close to everything with a short walk to the ski lifts. It was our home away from home in this magical winter wonderland. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Nice compact 1 bed room with kitchen, internal laundry and separate bathroom and balcony. Close to #4 bus stop and supermarket. Warm. Quiet location, underground parking, adequate clothes storage in rooms. Everything worked. good wifi. Double bed only in bedroom. You can walk to the lifts but the bus is way easier.

Great location with free shuttle close by. The closeby Olympic Plaza was a great place for my 10year old to have a play. The apartment was also very close to the grocery store. We loved the apartment especially the fire place.

We loved our apartment that we rented on the third floor of Marketplace Lodge. The company was very accomodating and even provided a pack n play for our baby to stay in with plenty of cozy baby blankets :)

Only thing I would be weary of is the fact the pull out couch bed would not be a comfortable place to sleep without a mattress pad . Not sure if company provides these, but I would make sure to ask if you plan to sleep guests on pull-out .

Overall truly great easy stay with close proximity to village.. and located right next to the playground which was great for our family :)

Lacks basic things-No storage shelves for food items, no casserole dish, vegetable peeler, grater, proper cups (only thick mugs) bath & sink plugs, hooks, and cluttered with not needed kitchen tools. Kitsch decorations. Filthy grease extractor above stove, no instruction book on anything. l

Unit needs some minor repairs (ballast in kitchen light, bathroom sink drain, sink plug, bath faucet sticks etc) that would make it more comfortable. Also, a coat of paint would be good.
Maintenance fellow was friendly.
No ski room was a hassle but ok.
A little noisy a few nights, but not too terrible.
Great location though. Loved the short walk to the shuttle and marketplace.

Easy virtual checkin. Responsive management team. Sent someone to look in to a pullout bed issue, next day after an email. Super close to amenities (grocery, village walk, and beside bus stop for heading to the ski gondolas).

We had a great time.
The accommodation is conveniently located on the shuttle circuit to the ski lifts, easy walk to shops, cafes & restaurants.
Also very close to the kids apres area in the Olympic plaza

Good location, reasonable price, parking included, washer and dryer in unit was very convenient. Mattress was a little uncomfortable.

The inside of the suite was good and we appreciate the upgrade but the state of the building right now is terrible. My aunt was afraid of leaving the suite on her own and this made for a not so nice experience. My aunt came all the way from Mexico to experience the beauty of Whistler and left with a disappointing impression as she paid a lot for a hotel that looked like part of a scary movie.

I thought it was very good value, the property was very comfortable in a great location. Shops downstairs and an easy walk to everything.

You do need to let them know if you are arriving early as there is no bag storage there, and the hallways of the building look very dates- but the actual flat was excellent. Kitchen worked great etc.

The suite is in great condition and we were not disappointed between what we saw on the web and the actual place. We got what we saw in the description. Market Place Lodge is situated at the end of the Whistler Village that is super convenient as we left our car in the garage for the entire stay. Slopes are 15 minutes walk away and a free shuttle is also available. We were pleased by the people we interacted with and have been super helpful and very professional. The only bad experience was when we went to bed. The bed in the bedroom is terrible, you can feel every springs and your partner can feel every movement you make. The sofa bed is even worst and our kids had to sleep on the floor. Long story short we did not sleep well for 5 days. This is really too bad as this ruined our vacation as this is not something we anticipated for a "deluxe" suite. We would still recommend the property amid good beds so you can rest after a day snowboarding / skiing but definitely not suite 328.

This apartment was a perfect place for our group. Wonderful location with free parking. Although seen some outdated would definitely recommend staying here for your trip to Whistler.

I've been to Whistler many times and I always stay at different facilities.
This one was better than average with the following exceptions:
1. Mattress in bedroom was very uncomfortable in that it was too firm and had no cushion top or mattress cover with extra cushioning. The hotels at Whistler are able to provide better mattresses than this type of facility.
2. The water has a lot of sediment in it. When the taps are first turned on the water is rust coloured and has debris in it. The same sediment can be seen at the bottom of the hot tub. Perhaps when housekeeping does their final check before a guest takes over a room they could run the taps and flush the toilets to avoid a new guest from seeing this sediment in the water.

Overall, I would give this unit #328 a decent rating. Each unit is owned by different people and managed by Marketplace Lodge. Our unit was clean. There where little things like the remote to TV not working, coffee maker had cracked reservoir that caused it to leak, and one of the drawers in the dresser was busted. The biggest complaint we had was the snowplows that started running at 0400 right outside our window. Two mornings in a row we were awoken by snow plows in the parking lot outside our unit. If you book at this lodge or any of those along the village, I would suggest making sure there is no parking lot outside your window. If there is, plan on getting no sleep!

This unit is located in a convenient area - top notch restaurants, overpriced grocery store unless taking advantage of US conversion rates, liquor store, and shopping. Check in ran smoothly courtesy of the two young ladies at the desk. Building is secure and safe, and uses a scannable key for entrance. The unit itself fulfilled our needs. There were plenty of appliances/cutlery/plates to be used for the week. Bed was nothing to rave about but was not uncomfortable. A few broken drawers in dressers but overall not an issue. My only complaint is the low pressure shower. In general was a good stay.

I have stayed at MP Lodge many times. We keep coming back because it is centrally located in Whistler Village. Grocery store, eateries and other shops only steps away. Also right on the free bus route. I know to expect hard beds and old flat pillows and mismatched dishes and I can live with that because again - price and location cannot be beat. Now I bring my own pillow and take pills so I can sleep. I'll return that's for sure. Also the hot tub over the years is mainly "out of order" - there are exceptional days where it is working. The managing staff however, cannot be beat, they are the best. I call for coffee filters, broken kettle etc they respond within hours. They respond quickly and efficiently. The towels and bathroom amenities are wonderful - supplied by same management company. That's what keeps us coming back too. Thank you again for a great place to stay. Our unit this time was very clean and lovely furniture and pictures. We appreciated the dining table set up. Very nice to enter and see such a beautiful space. I hope we are able to rent this unit again.

We have always enjoyed staying the the Market Place Lodge because of it's central location and the nice condos available for a big family, we usually book 3 or 4 conds at a time. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and try to do their best for the visitors. A great place to stay overall and the skiing was fantastic!!!

Great location. Many of the units in the Marketplace Lodge are newly renovated, but this one isn't. The toilet didn't flush well and the shower has very little pressure. The size is good, but the mattress in the master bedroom isn't very comfortable. Overall, its in a great location and good if you are on a budget, but I personally wish that I would have selected one of the other units

The suite was clean and had everything we could possibly need. It was very close to all amenities. There was nothing that stood out as particularly outstanding, but it was perfect for the trip we took. The only thing I could say wasn't the best was the lack of an AC unit, especially in the bedroom at night on a hot summer day!

Generally happy with the rental, other than the fact that my car was towed from my assigned spot. The management refunded me a night's stay for this mishap but it did end up causing us to miss our flight and have to take the red eye, which meant I couldn't work the next day, which cost us money.

Overall we (2 adults & 2 teens) had a great stay in this unit. The kitchen is well-stocked with a variety of utensils, appliances, dishes, etc. In-suite laundry facilities were unexpected, complete with detergent. Great location across from Olympic Plaza. An outdoor (covered) hot tub is available to guests, though we did not use it.
Couple of minor issues...the toilet was slow to flush and needed plunging near the end of our 4-night stay. Not sure if this is an ongoing issue. Also, the fire alarm went off at 2 am one morning - also not sure how often this happens.

Vacation was awesome. Condo was clean, well kept and we had all the amenities we needed. Was even able to make a pre-Christmas, Christmas dinner. Bed was comfortable too!

This is our second time at this property but in a different suite. This room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The only complaints were the shower pressure (very low) and the wifi seldom worked. Luckily Shaw on the Go picks up nicely here. Quiet location and nice to have parking included. Will come back but maybe with a room with a better shower!
PS - was challenging trying to exit to parking without your key fob since you had to leave it in the room. Maybe a drop box?

We had such a great time on our recent visit to Whistler, and the condo was in the PERFECT location. It was clean and well furnished, but could probably use a few updates in the bathroom and bedroom linens. Everything was within walking distance and it was easy to access the unit from nearby shops, restaurants, grocery store and activities. A great stay for sure!

Was quite happy with out stay, the suite was clean and comfy. The only thing missing was air conditioning but they did leave a few fans and that helped a lot. The location is central with shopping and restaurants close by. I would happily stay there again.

This property was described to me as a 15 minutes walk to the lifts or a short free bus ride. If you're 90 maybe! It's a hop and a skip from the Village center. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

This is my first time using Airbnb and I would definitely recommend renting from Bryan and Tanya! They responded to every question or comment I had within the hour, explained everything very clearly and have a beautifully maintained condo in the heart of Whistler Village! Seriously, if you didn't want to venture far for food, the grocery store, convenience store and liquor store are all in the vicinity . 10/10!!

Good room with lots of space. It would be nice if the branches off the deck were trimmed so the view of the mountains would be better, but overall our stay was wonderful
