A miracle
Another reservation fell through and at the last minute Tanya found us this rental so we could attend our grandson's wedding. Wonderful and thank you so much Tanya.

Summer holiday
Our rental was excellent. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need. The apartment is in excellent location to walk to the village and all shops and restaurants. It’s a 5 min drive to the golf course so couldn’t ask for more. I would highly recommend this apartment, and when I return to whistler I would definitely rebook this rental

Perfect stay for 3 nights
We, family of 4 with 2 adult children, had a perfect 3 night stay at Glaciers Reach. We loved the spacious property, the completeness of the kitchen and the hottub. The property is on the edge of city center, so we could walk everywhere. We left the car for the duration of the stay in the secure parking area of the property.
We would most certainly recommend Glaciers Reach to other travellers.

Great option especially for families
A great space with private hot tub. Beautiful BBQ and well equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms were so convenient. Staff were very responsive and went out of their way to be helpful. The furnishings are not fancy or opulent but clean and serviceable.

Fantastic base for a family of 4
Easy check-in
Everything you need in the kitchen including a decent set of knives, which I’ve never experienced in a short-term rental before!
Decent beds and showers
Washer/dryer is brilliant
3 min walk to Ski shuttle stop (marketplace 4 route) and 5 min ride to Gondolas
5 min walk to supermarket and liquor store
10 min walk to village centre
Easy check-out
Additional note for European skiers skiing January onwards ... the adult day pass is 300 CAD, which is about 6 times a Dolomites day pass. Buy your passes in Nov/Dec and don’t get robbed by Vail like we did.

great location but shabby interior
the location for this property is great but the layout is very odd and the rooms are crammed full with furniture which makes it difficult to navigate. The walls are very marked up. No extra which most rentals have like games etc.

Great Location, Great Amenities - just great!!
We love the location because of walking distance to the grocery and liquor stores as well as a short walk to the village. The free shuttle is steps away from the condo and gets you to the main lifts in less that 4 minutes. It's quiet and has a great space for common eating and gathering! We'll be back !

Decent
Needs a little updating, ceiling needs calking there are a bunch of little holes, and painting. Jack and Jill toilet is loose and doesn’t always fill up (needs Plummer attention). Overall the unit was solid and we had a good time.

Glacier lodge review October-November
Location is perfect as it it’s far to walk to the gondola and about 2 minutes from the market shop.
The rooms are spacious and well insulated, the living room can accommodate a family very easily as it has plenty of seating for dining and entertainment.
The facilities are very nice, the hot tub was well kept and gets checked every couple of days!
The office team are very helpful with anything at all times, they are more than happy to deal with any problems asap and have great communication with there team maintaining the property.
Overall an amazing place to stay for short or long term, we will definitely be coming back!!

Fine stay - depends on the price
Fine stay in good location, only 15min walk to lifts and close to shops etc. Spacious enough for 4 ppl, but furniture etc definitely dated and old. During entire stay the Wifi did not work and guest mgt was not helpful in trying ti get this fixed.

Great Location
We enjoyed our stay but felt there are a few things that need improved:
1. Clear instructions e.g. garbage disposal/ recycle policy (no mention at all)
2. Check out instructions due to Covid e.g. stripping beds, washing towels, dishwasher on etc.( we did all this)
3. The property looked, felt tired & in need of an upgraded.g. Mattresses felt old/lumpy, bathroom tiling, showerheads, flooring very worn & general decoration
4. Hot Tub: No lights, mists jets didn’t work
Whilst these things didn’t spoil our stay (we were there 3 years ago it felt as if nothing had changed/improved) We will consider again in future but would want to see the place upgraded significantly.

Beautiful place but sh*tty wifi signal
This was a nice place to stay (not great but not bad) but the wifi kicked me out every hour or less and I kept calling the rental number but they can’t/won’t do anything about it. Three if us were there any only one of us could connect to wifi at any given time and then we had to keep resetting the modem every hour or so. I wouldn’t stay here again because of it. It’s a shame as it’s a nice place.

Great place to stay with kids
We had a great experience at Glacier's Reach. Due to an error I had made while booking, our place wasn't actually booked and I didn't realize this until the day of our arrival! The amazing staff (Tanya) went out of her way to figure out a way for us to stay anyway, and made it happen - so kind! The apartment is spacious and clean, is quiet, and is so close to the village stroll while still feeling like it's outside of all the hustle and bustle. The hot tub and pool were great too.

Glaciers Reach #66
Condo was dated, and due to be renovated, which we were aware of. But everything worked fine, kitchen inventory was great, hot was fabulous. Found the complex a layout a bit difficult to actually locate the condo to start with. Map is inside the courtyard area and took some walking around to locate.

Good Set up for a family but could you a better cleaning
Perfect set up for a family and close location. Cleaning could have been improved. The hot tub was not chemicalized properly and as soon as you turned on the bubbles, it was completely foamed up. We did call and they came and fixed this the next day. On the bathroom counter, there were fake eyelashes from the previous guest and the when we went to use the kettle, it contained moldly water and jalapeno's at the bottom of it. When we called to have this replaced, I had to call back a second time when we still had not received a new kettle over 18 hours later. A brand new kettle was brought.

My whistler retreat
Overall a pleasant experience! Pool was great. Hot tub great. Suite pretty clean and all linens clean and in food repair. Bbq quite thick with grease and grease fire fortunately extinguished before it got serious! Kitchen unit very handy. Beds comfy. Bathrooms clean. Carpet in very bad condition. Looked dirty and ?burn marks. Fortunately this did not take away from the experience. Thank you for the use of your suite. We plan to book with you in the future. Adrian H

Pleasant stay
The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was on a private patio and much more secluded than some of the other units’ hot tubs. My only gripe, which is a very minor one, is that they could really use a new toaster (it barely worked).

Glacier's Reach #66
Our stay at condo #66 was very pleasant. As a family of four we were happy to have two very clean bathrooms and spacious enough bedrooms. The condo was very clean with some new furniture and appliances, but also some more run down pieces. We didn't do any cooking but there were enough utensils/bowls for coffee and breakfast in the mornings. The grounds of the complex were well maintained and the location was convenient yet quiet. We did not use the hot tub but the other patio space was nice and private. One suggestion would be to have working hairdryers for guests. We would recommend this condo to others. Thanks!

Comfortable stay, great hot tub, some maintenance upgrades needed
The apartment was in a great location, good size, generally comfortable and well heated, however there are a number of maintenance and other issues that need to be fixed to give it a higher rating. The mattress on the pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable and in poor condition. Toilet in bathroom requires repair as does dishwasher, and a number of minor repairs to door knobs and other fittings.

Modern condo close to village
Our family enjoyed the condo and the awesome location. The unit was nice and clean and we appreciated an early check in! Love the free parking and private hot tub, although the hot tub in this unit was very small compared to others in the same complex and the water level was very low, lower than it should be. We still enjoyed it though. The beds were comfortable, kitchen has basics you need to enjoy a meal in. Being able to park your vehicle and walk everywhere is a nice bonus! We did ask for the twin beds to be made into a king bed when we booked and a bit disappointed that they weren’t properly made into the King, so my hubby and myself each had a twin bed instead. Overall, great layout, especially being ground level made access a breeze with our stroller.

Homey and Comfortable Retreat
Four of us ladies stayed in this unit and found everything we needed. Everything was in good working order and the staff were helpful. It was clean and neat and offered everything we asked for. We did find it very dark in the suite and had to have a lot of lights on be able to see properly, even though the sun was out. I would recommend the step down at the front entrance be lighted as I was the first person to enter the unit and couldn't see the step and tripped. The wood over the step was dark with wear so it too needs to be cleaned and lightened for safety concerns. I would recommend it to friends on the condition they understand it is not in perfect condition---chunk of wallboard missing in the base of the kitchen and other minor holes/scrapes on the walls from skiboots or other equipment.
As we were young seniors with some walking difficulties, we found we were close to everything but were also able to drive into the Upper Village and park at night for our dinners. We enjoyed the pool, fireplace at night and would have liked to have had Netflix to watch a good movie after walking all day. Having the WiFi was good and T.V. and music on chanel 422 was perfect while we played cards and games. Appreciated the hottub but for some reason or another, didn't use it this year.

Great Whistler Getaway
Good arrival experience. A little surprised at the large damage deposit required? When looking for the key entry to the underground garage, it is situated quite a way back from the garage on the driver's side. Took me a little while to find it as was looking where I would have expected it next to the garage. Unit was very roomy, clean with all the needed amenities. Beds were comfortable. We never used the hot tub but it looked inviting and private on your own deck. Lost Lake is close. We had a great snowshoe day and was nice to be able to park the car underground and just walk everywhere. IGA and Liquor Store a five minute walk. Shuttle bus to hill less than that. Unit itself has a rustic cabin feel that was great for a Mountain Getaway.

Family Holiday in the fun capital of the world.
We stayed in Whistler for 11 nights and loved every minute.
Our accommodation was very comfortable and well appointed.
Located across the road from one of the free shuttle bus stops it was 90 seconds from the main Gondolas.
Internally the building was a little tired and had a couple of electrical issues.
The staff we dealt with at Whistler were first rate, they went out of their way to be helpful.
I would not hesitate to stay at Glacier Reach again or to deal with Whistler Retreats, first class!

Good but a bit dark!
The property was comfortable and in a good location 5 mins from shops and the main street. Everything was as described and all worked.

Being on the ground floor and having balconies above the terraces plus tall trees nearby meant that the property was very dark. The lights are needed all the time and since the temperature was near 30C they added to the heat. The furnishings are all very dark as well. None of this would matter in the winter.

The property description did not explain that linen and towels are included which for a visitor from the UK is important to know.

Overall very pleased with the rental.

Dissapointed
List of problems;
-Organisation during booking terrible, took down details wrong, cancelled wrong bookings, double bookings! lack of confirmation! accepted wrong bookings. Would it be that difficult to charge the credit card whilst on the phone... This was very stressful,
-Security concerns, it appears that during booking that credit card info is written on a piece of paper then handed to someone else for processing? This would lose you a business licence in most countries.
- Dirty towels still on bathroom floor upon arrival
- Poorly stocked kitchen, shortage of cutlery, glassware and cooking equip (example no cooking trays for cooking pizza/wings etc). Tolerable for 4 but would have struggled if 5 or 6 people
-For close to $1700 for a weekend, I would expect a lot better in terms of organisation, cleanliness and kitchen stock

Thank-you for your comments. Please note that this was booked through an online travel agency - Whistler Central Reservations - and unfortunately not with us directly. We apologize that their service was not as it should have been. Booking directly with us (Whistler Retreats) ensures that you are dealing with the actual property manager instead of a third party. We also apologize that the condo was not up to the expected standards. We have spoken with our cleaners to ensure this doesn't happen again. At inspection, there were sufficient dishes and cutlery for at least 6 guests but we'll double check that as well.

Overall, our experience was enjoyable and we were very pleased with the location of the property. The bus stop was less than a 5 minute walk for pickup and drop off at the base. Walking to the village was easy and the market was a quick trip via walking as well.
The property is a bit dated and in need of upkeep. The kitchen has been upgraded and was very functional and the living area accommodated our family of 4. However, the bathrooms were in need of new fixtures and the tubs drained very slowly. General maintenance of painting, updated lighting and dusting are hopefully scheduled for the near future.
Underground parking was included and was a nice feature to have. If/when updates are made then we would rent again for this location. The management staff was very friendly and kept us up to date with our reservations. Any/all questions or concerns we had they took care of. Their recommendations for local restaurants was spot on!

Family Trip
We had a great time. The place was wonderful. The hot tub was great and we were so close to grocery shop and village.

Great stay
This is a great apartment especially with a private outdoor jacuzzi. After being at this complex, we especially liked our jacuzzi at #66 because it was on a covered patio and much more private than the other condo jacuzzis. We were backed by woods and a walking path that was not used much.
The living room dining area is not that big and only comfortable seating for 3 or 4 so for 6 people that was a little tight. Not a negative but just something to be aware of if you are 6 adults and plan to lounge.
Overall, the condo is great. Plenty of space for skis, snowboard, boots, etc. at the entrance. Beds are comfortable and both bathrooms have deep tubs which is great. The master has a jacuzzi tub as well, although we did not use it because we liked the outdoor jacuzzi.
Master bedroom has twin beds and private bathroom. (twins can be made into a king) 2nd bedroom has the queen bed.
Our only negative is that it is a long walk to the lifts in ski boots but there is a free shuttle bus just across the street that drops you right at the lifts. That works very well. Other than that, easy to walk to restaurants, grocery store, shopping.

Definitely Below Average
Booked a 4-day stay here but only stayed 3 here and then hopped somewhere else because there were some issues with the home. Overall dissatisfied, and this is coming from someone who travels to Whistler every weekend, and books a place every month.

That said, management was professional and ultimately the problem was with the home during our stay which I believe has since been fixed. Most stays in Whistler have been wonderful and I'm looking forward to my next trip up, hoping that this was just a small blip.

Good
It was a good place, everything was pretty much in working order and clean. The hot tub was decent, the communal hot tub may need a new pump, as the Jets weren't the greatest.

Personally, I think the curfew of 10pm was a little bit excessive. I come 17 hrs to get there and I can't even hang out in the hot tub with my room mates after dinner (since we're out so late riding). I can see after midnight, but after 10?

Nice, But A Little Run Down
We rented the unit for three nights and shared with one other couple. The unit was spacious and the rooms were OK, but there was a lot of damage in the unit: the floor lamp in the small bedroom was smashed; the shower head barely worked, the plastic knobs on the sink taps in the master bedroom ensuite were broken; there was damage to the paint and drywall on the divider separating the ktichen form the living room. Small things - but kind of annoying in light of the fact that I was forced to put a $750 damage deposit on my credit card. Really? You ask for the money and then you don't use it? You won't even replace a broken floor lamp? Anyway, the place was OK and reasonably priced - if run down. The location was convenient with the MarketPlace just down the street. With all the choices there are in Whistler, I'm not sure I'd book there again, though, nor recommend it.

Glaciers reach #66
Very expensive and poor quality, had to pick up broken glass by the hot tub, television didn't work but was fixed for the second night, stayed here to use the pool but it was not in service and no one told us prior to booking, very dark coming in the front door ,and my husband fell as we had no idea there was a step down as you come in the door. Perhaps a light left on at the door would have prevented this

Glaciers Reach
Our stay at Glaciers Reach was very enjoyable and restfull . We have stayed in that complex before several times. we were disappointed at the location of the townhouse. Too much shade surrounded it. No where to sit in the sun. Pool area was always too busy. The units we stayed in before were a little more luxurious and had a lovely sitting area in the sun .

Great location
We had a fantastic time in Whistler. This property was exactly as advertised. The location was great. The free shuttle to the hill is literally at the front door. The market with the grocery and liquor stores is right there. The whole village including the mountain is a very short walk, so no need for driving, parking, cabs.
The hot tub was such a treat. We used it every night. Our group left feeling like we had scored a good deal in finding this place and I would go back in a heart beat.

pretty good, pretty good
5 nights in unit 66 - some maintenance issues needed attention, and all but one were taken care of pretty quickly. Bedrooms and bathrooms were fine, quiet for sleeping, etc.. Kitchen may not look big, but, we had no problem turning out meals for 4 adults. Most of the time we walked to places, but, bus route #4 is nearby, and we did take advantage of that too.

Enjoyed our stay
The accommodation was perfect for a casual visit to Whistler, and enjoyed the location & hot tub.

Only concerns at all was around the check-in procedure (locks on doors need a little explanation), as well as a map to our unit would have been great, and a warning about the key entrance to the garage being well back from the parking garage door. These are small things - but made the check in more of a hassle than we would have liked.

Overall - will definitely return.

wonderful location and unit
We had a 2-bedroom unit on one level (1 stair inside front door). We had the 2nd bedroom arranged with the twin-beds option (rather than a king bed). This is our favourite location in Whistler - after we unload and park the car, we don't need it again until we leave Whistler. The unit was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. We could have used more coffee, but we just went across the street and bought some. It was also a very quiet unit backing on the walking trail behind the complex. Loved it.

Came with friends for my 50th B-day biking adventure. Close to the slopes, close to many restaurants and bars. Everything was great!
