Glaciers Reach 2-Bedroom Private Hot Tub #39

Our apartment was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. It appeared to have been renovated in the last few years and everything was in excellent condition with plenty of kitchen utensils, towels etc. If it was available, we would have stayed there longer, however Whistler Retreats were very helpful in finding us other accommodation when we decided to stay longer than originally planned.

Clean unit, nice layout and good location. The only downside is that the overpriced cleaning fee (equivalent to more than one nights stay!)does not include garbage removal? It is ridiculous to charge that much and then ask we take out our own garbage. Garbage removal is part of cleaning the suite.

It was a truly wonderful stay. It's very clean and has a great location. The village is only a five-minute walk away. The owners were also very helpful. The highlight is the hot tub.

Great location walking distance to Whistler's pedestrian village, restaurants, shops and for us kids play area, slide hill, skating rink. Challenging layout - 2nd and 3rd level stair access.

Townhouse is located on the quiet side of the village but within walking distance to all attractions and restaurants. We have stayed here previously and had a great experience. Townhouse is equipped with everything you might need for a long term stay. Communication was quick and easy.

Unit number 39 had all the amenities we wanted. A separate covered patio to sit out and relax on and a upper patio with a hot tub. the inside was nicely done with a more modern look. The location may not be for everyone but we like the more quite end of the village down by the grocery store. If looking to stay in the heart of the village then this is not the place.

Glacier Retreats was a top quality digs, with everything that we would need. Hottub was clean and well located. Balcony was good but some of the chairs were in disrepair. Beds and bathrooms were very good and clean. Washer dryer was very handy.

Coffee machine leaked everywhere until we managed to fix one of the seals. Same with the dishwasher - a quick wipe round the door seal stopped it leaking.

Main issue I found was giving credit card details over the phone only to gain the access codes, which incurred me with a £25 phone bill to do so....

Location was great for access to bikepark and v close to shops and bars.

Our stay was wonderful in every way - super close to everything we needed within one block, walkable to both Blackcomb and Whistler base areas. The private hot tub is lovely and the condo set up with two floors and plenty of room to spread out was perfect for our four person family with two teenagers. Highly recommend!

We were two couples looking for a nice relaxing weekend away from our busy lives in Vancouver and boy did we find it. The place was cozy but roomy and absolutely spotless which is important to me. The private hot tub was our favourite spot. It was on the balcony and completely secluded with a beautiful view of snowy mountains visible beyond the trees. Best part being that we could all relax in there with plenty of room to get really comfortable. We had a delicious dinner at 21 Steps a short 15minute walk away, in fact everything was a very close walk away. We left on Sunday morning with a smile on our face and the glow still lingers.

The stay was good, not much privacy with the hot tubs as I would have liked. I payed for cleaning fee but yet I had to do dishes, take out my garbage to the garbage bins it wasn’t much relaxing for me as I felt like I was at home. I paid quite a bit for two nights so that part I was a little disappointed.

Clean, comfy and larger than we expected. Easy spot to walk into town from or the bus stop was just over the road. Really appreciated the extra space and quiet from not being right in the centre. Kids liked the hot tub and communal pool (gym and toilet facilities by the pool were in need of a refresh but didn’t worry us too much as went back to the apartment). Overall a great week skiing and a great base, would come back.

We had the most awesome trip to Whistler with our family! Our accommodation was perfect for us and provided everything we needed for a two stay. The kids loved our personal hot tub and then access to the shared hot pool. Catching the #4 to the slopes was totally fine or walking into the village is super easy. Being across the Marketplace also added ease for quick shops on supplies. It was great!

We really enjoy this unit. I think we’ve stayed there three times. It has everything we need. The only two problems I had were the dresser in the bedroom downstairs has been broken for over a year. The second was the cleanliness of the unit. Under the couch has obviously not been cleaned in a long time. It was gross under the couch. Everything else was bang on.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this unit. The first experience was great, however this time not so much. One morning we were awoken at 6am to an alarm going off in the upstairs bedroom. This scared us as we thought there was something seriously wrong. Not knowing if it was a smoke detector or carbon monoxide alarm we opened up the windows and door to ensure good ventilation. We called the property manager and they never got back to us after 3 attempts. Finally when we got home I called again and was told that apparently maintenance looked into it and it was fine and just a false alarm. However, no contact was made with myself as they called the unit phone and never left a message. In addition, the manager was quite short with me, giving me every excuse in the book and didn't seem to care all that much. She advised someone would reach out to me and to date I still haven't heard from anyone. Not to mention the quality and cleanliness of the unit has deteriorated since we last stayed there and the owners don't want to invest any money in there to fix it.

Our stay at Unit 39 (included 39A) was very nice ! The unit was very clean, the kitchen was very well stocked and it was a really quiet unit. We loved everything about it. The stairs inside, up to the 1st are and the top bedroom, balcony and hot tub are very narrow and steep .... so keep that in mind.

The place was homdey, nicely decorated hence pleasant to the eyes. It was really clean. The kitchen was fully operational, we had everything we needed. Loved the Hot tub although it was on the top floor if the unit, it was still not that inconvenient. Overall happy with the stay.

Very nice unit in a great location. Unique but very appeasing layout with all the modern flavor. Will definitely consider renting again, beware if you have a truck though that parking in the underground is incredibly tight!

Well appointed and modern unit. The location is perfect: quiet; close to the Marketplace; tennis centre; and free shuttle bus to Whistler Village/Gondolas. Although there were only two of us renting this unit the upper bedroom with two twin beds was perfect for our grand-daughter's special sleepover. The unit was very clean and smelled so good! Customer Service was prompt and reliable. We would stay here again!

Had a fantastic getaway weekend in Whistler and absolutely loved our stay at this property! It was my birthday and the owner very thoughtfully surprised me by leaving a Happy Birthday balloon in the suite, along with some goodies. We felt very welcomed. The rental was very cozy and stylish, and the private hot tub was a great perk as well! We would definitely come here again. Thanks so much for the lovely experience!

We wanted a covid friendly way to get away with our 6 month old baby and still have a way to go in a hot tub. This place was awesome. We loved that it had a separate room we could have our baby sleep and still be able to stay up and enjoy ourselves. The place came with everything we needed and more. Only issue was the knives weren’t in the best condition. We brought our own food so we didn’t need to eat out and it was difficult to prep with knives provided. Other than that we were very happy with our stay!!

Also the check in and check out process was awesome. I loved the app provided for this service. VERY user friendly!

The location is very centrally located to the village. The condo was okay, as we mainly used it to sleep and store our gear. The beds weren't as described and weren't very comfortable. The hot tub although great to have on site couldn't get hotter than 100 F and the jets weren't that strong.

The best thing about this property was the location which was outstanding for easy access to Market place and the village.

Unfortunately the detail let it down and inability to contact the property managers to rectify concerns. (the answering service did a great job at passing on messages)

The furnishings are dated and not all in working order: ie bedroom chest of drawers and lounge lamps. Housekeeping had forgotten to leave bathroom toiletries etc. The TV wasn't always working and we were unable to contact someone to rectify the problem.

These were minor concerns however do affect the enjoyment of ones vacation.

Ok.

We had a problem with the hot tub. The chlorine was too high and we experienced a mild burn. Immediately showered to try and stop the burning. I called the company and they said they would contact the technician to look into it. I called again later in the trip and they said it was taken care of the day after I called. A follow up call letting me know it was good to use would have been appreciated. They said I was told that it would be ready in a day but that is not my recollection. We missed out on the its use for almost the entire trip.

Other than that the property was fine. A bit basic but clean.

Nicely updated unit with most of the necessities of home; the unit could use a few kitchen items. Plenty of towels and extra bedding. In suite laundry was great with 2 small kid in tow. Private hot tub was very nice, although quite gritty inside. We were surprised by the early morning hot tub testing maintenance person arriving and would have appreciated advance notice. The unit is steps from the village and great for a stay any time of year.

This two bedroom condo was perfect for our family of four. It was a split level, so the kids were up stairs in twin beds with their own bathroom. We loved enjoying the hot tub after skiing and having the kitchen available for meals in. The washer and dryer were a blessing. Bring your own detergent! It is modern and pretty well stocked. Perfect location to everything. Walking distance to grocery store and the hill.

We loved our little apartment , it was really close to the Village, walking distance to everything we may need. Very comfortable and clean, perfect with 2 bathrooms for a family of 5. One day our principal door didn’t work so we couldn’t close it and go to sleep ( we were worried if someone tried to open it ) , so we called for help to the attention phone number and they send a person to fix it even it was almost midnight... there were the batteries of the door that needed to be changed.

#39 At Glaciers Reach was so perfect for our weekend getaway with friends. The Unit was newly renovated, decorated beautifully and had absolutely everything we needed. The hot tub was ready to go straight away and it was a great size. It was so close to the village so we never had to walk very far. Would definitely like to stay here again :)

Our second visit to this unit this year, as usual very clean and well appointed.

Parking was a pain, unit has its own spot but someone parked poorly beside us, making the spot useless, but no real fault of this owner/unit.

Kitchen is nice, great for cooking if you don't want to eat out every meal, we love the short walk it IGA for groceries and the liquor store

This rental unit is freshly renovated, fully equiped and furnished with reasonable ikea furniture. Tastefully decorated, very clean.

Private hot tub needs a bit of work, staff at booking and checkin are great, I wouldn't change much. This was the second time we rented this same unit.

Upon arrival check in was very curtious, the room was located close to the village and met our needs for travel distance.
As we entered the suite it was very clear the room was not what we had expected as the following:
Hot tub was not working the water was cold...this was a huge disappointment as a selling feature for our stay due to taking part in Tough Mudder!
Carpets, furniture was extreamly dirty.
Child's haighchair had old stale food stuck in it we had to clean prior to placing my son in it.
Patio furniture was all broken and stacked to the side of the deck, was very disappointed not to be able to relax outside on the deck, we had to put towels down just to sit out side as the deck was also very dirty.
Deck upstairs with Hot Tub was extreamly dirty and when stepping out did not feel safe.
When oeping windows screens fell of we had to prop them back up.
Stale chuncks of food in the kitchen and under the table on the carpet.
Rocks used to prop the doors open inside had to be quickly removed as posed a sfaty hazard for any child staying in the suite, became quickly apparent when they were picked up and droped on a foot (real door stops shoud be brought in).

Whistler experience was so amazing we will return as a family but will not be staying here again.

We stayed with our 3 young kids (11, 9 and 7) over March Break and had a fabulous time. Unit was 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on 2 levels. Although slightly outdated, very comfortable. Cozy, had everything needed, flat-screen tv over fireplace, hot tub had great view of Blackcomb Mountain. Across street to village, shops, restaurants, wine store. 5 minute bus to lifts (could maybe ski to but no snow). Highly recommend and would return. Thanks!

We had a wonderful time and liked that our spa was upstairs and very private with a fantastic view, (compared to some of the others).
Easy to walk through to village stroll or take the free bus. Great near the supermarket, etc. Amazing stay and will come again. Can't wait.

We had a great time staying at the property. It was clean and had enough space for all of us.
The bed upstairs is a bit hard though and I know some people like that, but it was too hard for my back. We only had coffee for 1 day of the 4 day stay so it would have been nice to have coffee each day. Also I thought we were going to be in Blackcomb and we weren't but it turned out ok since it was across from the Marketplace.
The parking garage was close and it was a nice and quiet place! We would go again for sure, just bring an extra pad for the bed!
